This is Fiat Panda SISLEY 4X4 1990. 34 years old now.

Wouldn't have considered it worth a photo back then, but now just looks like an appealing little package, nice and angular and I think it gets away with its drabish colour and tan interior, and the steering wheel/dash seemed a decent job although not that photographable through the reflections on the windows.

The last time I worked on a proper motorcycle it was a Matchless 500 twin back in the 1950s :) The company had sold it in our Worcester shop an it was returned under guarantee with a 'leg out of bed', boss wouldn't supply a new engine so I rebuilt the old one with two halves of used engines.
The Worcester buyer was happy enough with the service but a couple of months later we were told he'd died after a huge crash on the riverside road and the bike was destroyed.
The only other two wheeler stuff I've had was a couple of district nurses mopeds I bought at BCA, they were a real pain to fix up and sell so I never did bikes again.

Oo-err Matron!

Yes. Its on the back of the seat but not emblazoned on the tank. Not sure where the "W" comes from...but they have been using it for some time since back in the 60's when their W1 Machine was based heavily on a licensed version of the post-war, pre-unit construction, 500cc vertical-twin BSA A7.

When you think about it the W does look very much like an upside down M which is found on the Matchless tanks of the time. I wonder if there is any connection? :-D

Maybe not alink to answer the 'W' Question but I did spot something familiar and coincidental about this Kawasaki Logo on the left...Pashley-esque! with a bit of rotation/flipping.

I spotted a series 1 Jaguar E Type in the Great Hollands area of Bracknell around lunchtime today. Open top, pale metallic blue. I was driving, hence no photographs.
