Neil, I have to ask, was the 'three' in your first line a fortunate typo for 'there' or a deliberate reference to the three models available at the time? It struck me that you meant 'there' but it could be as it reads? :-D

Stellantis' latest, hot off the press. Production of this has started ahead of schedule. But will the joint venture product have a Leapmotor or one of the 14 existing Stellantis Brand badges on it...TBC...
The Leapmotor T03 entered production at Stellantis’ factory in Tychy, Poland, in the third week of June (10-16 June), Reuters wrote in an article on 17 June. Based on a Jefferies report from the earlier day, the article added that mass production of the Chinese EV at the Polish plant will start in September, in line with Leapmotor International’s European launch timeline announced in May.

Not a very original design!! Looks similar to a number of small cars of the past including the Subaru I bought for SWMBO's daughter but she turned her nose up at it!! :-D

It was never going to be a sleek coupe Mick. Box with a wheel at each corner and a touch of rounding off for a bit less drag. :-D

I quite like the "retro" design revival which has become popular in the some corners of the motorbiking world. Maybe given time the treasure trove of the best of past car designs sitting in the archives will emerge as options. Really for a slippery effcient shape all cars should have covered wheel arches and be a little more odd-looking like Rasa the fuel cell electric vehicle from Riversimple.

Looks tidy Mick and reasonable mileage, problem will be range but only if you need to do more than about 90 miles a day.
Bid on there is about the same as 'We buy any car.' offered for mine before I px'd it into Renault Cardiff, a better colour than my black one and probably a showroom price around five grand.

Thanks Gibbo, depends on the battery status, owned or leased, if I can get an answer from them, be fine for my pottering use although the MX3 would have to go to make space and I'm not sure I want to do that. Does the Dynamique have sat nav do you know? :)

DEja vu Mick. Its it one of those things that the declaration about being a trader is their way out of all liabilities, even though it is expressly a condition of sale that the buyer declares themselves as a trader.

You/Gibbo will know far more about the buying and selling of Cars than me. Based on the paucity of information, and the unlikelyhood of a trip to Nottingham to kick the tyres a shot to nothing has to be at around the 1 bid price already bearing in mind the add on buyers fees and collection too. I take it you would be allowed to bid and buy even though it is supposed to be a trade only Auction, no showing of headed paper and a VAT number when you come to seal the transaction, or beforehand to register as a trade buyer with the auction house. :?:

Previous reponse.

Details here
Another "Trade Only" auction. The bare minimum of details on the car, high buyers premiums, 18% plus VAT (hammer prices over £1000), and very much as to be expected, no comeback whatsoever implied in the terms and conditions.

As a sale to the trade you have to be paying next to nothing for that car to make your money. Will end up on a forecourt with a £4,500-£5,000 price on the windscreen and not a straightforward quick turn around should it be subject to a battery lease. Most 2014 Zoes will be subject to a battery lease. Plenty of life left in it though.
All lots are strictly sold with no grading or guarantees and can include pre-owned, salvage, part-exchange, repossessed, ex-finance, seized vehicles and from liquidations and insolvencies, there can be no refunds or discounts offered under any circumstances. Your bid is your legal commitment to purchase.

You expressly acknowledge and agree that you are not a consumer but a trade purchaser and as such it is fair and reasonable for us to exclude, restrict or limit our obligations and liability to you in respect of the lots we offer for sale on behalf of sellers or ourselves.

Yes thanks for your input Neil. I suspect it will be a lease situation which will deter my interest which is is only marginal at best. I have no worries about the trade status as I am a retired registered trader and I have a few contacts which I could use if they wish. That side of things is not an issue. I would want to be driving it around for what I can sell the MX3 for plus around a grand, although I could bridge the gap between buying and selling if I had to. However at the moment there are two hurdles, the battery status and my own reluctance to sell the MX3. However I only have 48 hours to decide and I am spending tomorrow out with Jim so will find out his views then. I suspect I won't get the info from the auction house in time and thus will probably give it a miss unless it goes very cheap!! :-D

I would think it was great if you gave a bit of bargain basement electric a try Mick. Home "fuel" from the plug, is still half the price of petrol from the pump, and yes you can still have pretty much a shot to nothing with a bit of bargain basement electric. There is a whole thread on the Zoe.here
It has some disadvantages in its AC only charging for the older models, but get your home charging sorted out, and you will rarely find the need to charge up "on the road", and as Gibbo found, a case can be made to buy one, or even 2 in his case!

I reread through the Zoe thread. I had forgotten they are AC charging only which is a negative for me as I would need to charge on the go for most of my regular return trips. My three most common destinations are 34, 51 and 62 miles away so 90 mile range would be a problem on 2 out of 3 trips. I think I'll give this one a miss! :)

That would almost certainly be a rental battery Mick at around £49 a month, the range on my old one was 97 miles at worst and 110 at best depending on the conditions, charging away from home wasn't a problem just about every supermarket has charging points now and you could just 'top up' no need to wait for a full charge.
When I first got mine and Tesco were doing free charging it got done there while I did my weekly shop.
