I ask dear members to help me solve this problem
My car is a 2002 Citroen C5
Sometimes the check engine light comes on, and the engine begins to vibrate and make noise, and the number of engine revolutions does not increase when pressing the accelerator pedal, and the message “Anti-pollution Fault” appears with a significant decrease in the vehicle’s torque. This condition continues for about five minutes and then disappears completely.
Other times it causes the engine to shut down
Note that this condition becomes more frequent when the engine operation period increases.
Is it possible that the problem is in the ignition coil, and how can I be sure of this before replacing it?
Thank you everyone
Fady
