Was Ed Gasket any relation to Bill Posters?

It doesn't really fit in any of our car spotting threads, not being French, truly classic or under 10k although it could qualify for Favourite Colours or the Interiors thread but there are too many pictures to decide which one shows that off best. So here it is for general interest, I'd be intrigued to know who else was aware of it! :-D

Details here
Saw one of these on the M40 a few weeks ago in black. I knew what it was, being a car obsessed ADHDer. Never seen one in the flesh before.

They look like a badly put together kit car, I was most disappointed.

Even more so, it isn't intended to be poured over the block akin to Gunk and similar degreasers!

Another coincidence. Only yesterday, after the thread had been some time in the doldrums, I revived the "Electric Vehicles Small Electric topic with a bit on the Microlino. A few posts back the Carver was given the "Fully Charged" treatment on the thread, followed up by a piece from the horses mouth, the CEO of Carver who came up with this quote
"Why do you need 2,000 kg of steel to move one person :?: "

Thoroughly agree, I feel quite privileged to have owned & driven , GS's, GSA's, CX's (Fams & GTI's), BX, XM, and three versions of the C5. To complete the set it would be nice to drive (or ride in 😉) a DS someday if possible.🤞

Driving a proper DS with the hydraulic gearbox is definitely a magical experience Stu :D

As is driving a V6 XM or a CX with Diravi steering ;)

My GS had the semi-automatic box, is that the same?
CitroJim wrote: Yesterday, 12:19…CX with Diravi steering ;)
All three of my CX's had the variable steering, more direct the faster you went - was that Diavi?

That indeed was Stu :D I've only ever driven and LHD V6 XM with it and it was very different. I really liked it!
