2022 Citroen Dispatch 2.0 HDI 145 LWB - Gearbox Oil

Unread post by DispatchDan06 »

Hi All,

My 2022 Dispatch 2.0 HDI 145 LWB has 7000 miles. The gearbox is tight to shift gears and crunches occasionally in second when cold. I am goingto replace box oil. Can anyone advise the gearbox oil capacity and recommended type? (there was no owners manual with the van)

Thanks in advance [-o<

Surely this van is still under warranty??
Take it back to dealer if you are having gear problems.

Ex-Audi vehicle tech (2007-2011) and now engineer by trade, so will do all I can before taking into the dealership. I know the horrors that lurk there! 👀

Any intervention you may make may well invalidate any warranty - as said best advice is to take it back.

If it needs a gearbox, gear change or clutch repair it should be cheaper as in no cost using the warranty so best to take it back.

UPDATE: Took it back, neutral sensor leaking. They drained, resealed, and refilled box. 4 weeks later still leaking. Took bad again and same issue after a few months. I am doing 1000 miles a week in the van so can't afford it to be in the workshop.

The box loosened up around 12k miles and now shifts smooth.

Going to replace gearbox oil. Does anyone have auto data specs on exact gearbox oil type and capacity please [-o<
