Some curvaceous curves as a background to the pleasant enough lighting.

Not likely! She's not going to be evicted from her home... Not even a yellow GS can do that and besides, a GS would not fit in my garage, Bluebell only just fits...Rp0thejester wrote: 11 Oct 2023, 17:47Are you considering pushing poor little defense less Bluebell out into the open??CitroJim wrote: 11 Oct 2023, 08:56 I will watch with interest NeilDepth of garage remains a problem though...

Re: Lights! (Interesting and Awful please)
They look absolutely the business but by today's standards, 'Long Range' might be pushing it a bit.
I've seen some advertising for old cycle acetylene gas headlights that show them lighting up the road ahead like floodlights...
Advertising standards in those days were not what they are today but made for some very great adverts exploiting to the full 'artistic license'!

Re: Lights! (Interesting and Awful please)
The pattern on the offside headlight was different (maybe so as not to "dazzle"! oncoming drivers). Lucas as well but not the same as the BI Flex Long Range.

The offside headlamp is original Neil the nearside is an add on later job. possibly pincher from something superior like a Rolls.

Re: Lights! (Interesting and Awful please)
November 2023 since we had an entry to the Lights interesting/awful thread.
The thread is full of fine examples of classic looks, back to days when lights were simple round things with a bulb in and LED's hadn't been invented or applied to lighting on vehicles. As far as lighting design goes now its probably where the greatest points of difference and branding are possible. Difficult to see exactly what constraints they operate under, with difficult to see lights within lights and a harsh brightness. Then they start to be intelligent, and are probably able to screen movies on your garage door. Try not to bash into a bollard, you could well write the car off with the price of them.
But as the Jam put it, "this is the modern world", and the thread needs to embrace where vehicle lighting is now.
I am told that the Renault 5 will wink at you, and all in all quite a decent effort by Renault with the rear shading it from the front.
