Then I'm guessing it's the successor of the Crusader which I believe was called a B********* McCoy? :-D

Excellent work Mick

The McCoy was originally produced by Arthur Birchall Ex-Chief mechanic for Team Lotus who's career stemmed from Formula 1. Styling of the McCoy was undertaken John Frayling (who had previously worked on the Clan) with chassis development by Brian Luff. The McCoy retained the monocoque structure of the Clan but discarded the Hillman Imp engine and the plywood bulkhead weakness. The engine was replaced by a front mounted Mini or Metro unit, carried on standard dry Mini sub-frames front and rear. The website states 100 McCoy's were made, a truer figure is 86. As for the front windscreens the Clan and McCoy share the same front screen all other glazing is flat safety glass.

As far as I'm concerned anyone who joins in and plays along gets points from me, regardless of who comes up with the right answer. That particular car looks to be one of the last and was produced by NG Wynes in Norfolk.
I am sure there is an answer to where the rear lights came from...

Just out of curiosity, they surely wouldn't have manufactured their own rear lights, so please feel free to use any search tools at your disposal and see where these pretty awful out of proportion rear light clusters came from.

Merc's favoured the ribbed lights, but I couldn't tell you where those ones come from.

P.s. a very odd choice, they are huge and not especially beautiful!
