Having given Wooler (the place) a mention, this rather nice vintage motorcycle came up as an image

Plenty more photos and a bit of writing here, on the striking Wooler 1919 348 cc IOE flat twin “ Flying Banana “ engine 226 designed by John Wooler

Is that a flat 2 engine or has it come out of a washing machine?

Reg tells us its an Aston Martin DB6, only 1,788 ever made , and the first model to be engineered following a factory relocation from Feltham to Newport Pagnell according to wiki

In the same location as my POTD post I saw this. I think CitroJim will like the colour (and probably the car, although it is not in a great state).

I don't believe so, she'd never have a bog-standard one ;)

That one potentially could look magical in yellow and those rather lovely wheels...

Now then, requires a small amount of effort but Reliant.Website has a gallery of mainly black and white pictures of celebrities at the time posing with their Reliant cars many of which are Scimitars.

An interesting little crop and not a single youtuber, or reality TV star, or influencer, or vlogger amongst them.

Princess Anne and Prince Philip of course but also from the World of Sport Saturday afternoon Wrestling Mick McManus, and Graham Hill with his Scimitar GTE and a very nice dog.
