What's that stuff on the seats to give it a touch of luxury...could in be what is known as "Velour" Not often you get the chance to have a nose around an Opel Monza, and take a slightly out of focus picture

in the Late 1970's Lancia came up with some bright upholstery. A brief dalliance over to the Lancia Gamma Consortium Forum on the back of the pair of Coupes spotted today, had this striking Blue one on show from a 1978 Gamma Berlina

Identical to the dash in mine. Mine was an 'S' reg.

I know that car and its owner - and can vouch for it being as comfortable as it is eye catching. Doesn't hang around either.

If you're bringing up Lancia interiors though, you can't get all that much more bonkers than the Trevi.





Which despite looking absolutely bonkers from any other angle, from the driver's seat actually *works* really well I have to admit.



Lovely car to drive as well. Their famous twin cam engine, suspension which is supple enough to give a properly comfortable ride yet with some serious ability to cling to the road and change direction at speeds you really wouldn't expect to look at it. Shame they're basically extinct.
