Although not a classic as such, I've just seen my first C5 in motion!! Just glided over the devil's bulges as if they weren't there

I had one with a semi auto gearbox Mick, it was a 2.4 but seemed under powered.

Yes Mick, here's a few photos from that time, about 1988. I bought the derelict cottage when I sold the business and lived in the caravan while it was restored and extended.
The other one is my used car patch before I moved, that lot would do well on Bangers and Cash now.

Can't remember Jim, I bought it for £600 to live while the house was done, kept it for three years then the next door neighbour paid me £600 and moved it away for his niece to live in a couple of miles away............cheapest accommodation I've ever had.
