Not a Tesco brekkie Peter, I was in a very pleasant cafe - bar called Henge Master's Cafe on the A36 east of Warminster. I was the only customer at the time so the place was very quiet which suited me perfectly:

My choice bobins, I have to limit my intake of bacon on hot days to reduce my need for water later!! :-D

Nope, the only hat I ever wear is my cycling helmet... My headgear preference is a light covering of hair...

Petworth House, bit of a link with Northumberland both in the activities of local lad Lancelot Capability Brown, and the land owning gentry of the Percy family who became the successive Dukes of Northumberland. Jane the current Duchess has started a career on reality TV on Channel 4 with "The Duchess and Her Magical Kingdom" aka Lilidorei.

Mellow fruitfulness? Another autumnal sign saw a flock of fieldfares unusually early I thought, might have to look that one up.

Rather unusually, I entered the deer park at Petworth House via a tunnel :)

As Petworth House is run by the National Rust, you have to be able to bypass the 'paid for' part in order to get into the deer park, and to do this via the town you go via the Cowyard and the Cow Tunnel.
