I'd have to disagree there Jim, most of the best maybe but not all!! I'll prove my point on the South Coast trip! :-D
Looking forward to being proved wrong Mick! :D

Doesn't have to be a competition chaps! All around the coast of the United Kingdom there are tremendous beaches it just so happens that most of the pictures of beaches, and coastal scenes posted on our humble forum come from the Falcon camera, and so mostly in Northumberland/Scottish Borders :-D Look forward to some pics from the South Coast trip, but no need for comparisons.

The line of beach huts are a well-enough known characteristic of this particular beach

To help the delvers, its a canny walk to the beach, but there is a little "train" and this is the nearby harbour

I Must Go Down To The Sea Again

I must go down to the sea again,
to the lonely sea and the sky;
I left my shoes and socks there -
I wonder if they're dry?

One little train, now since 2021 no more, on the little 10¼ inch gauge Railway. Holkum Estates "hopes to be able to find better solutions for getting people to and from the beach - ones that offer an easier and safer experience"
Can't confirm it but that appears to be an electric bus. The rolling stock and track went to Lappa Valley Railway in Cornwall, but en route to Cornwall, Densil was dropped off at Watford Miniature Railway (http://watfordrailway.co.uk/locomotives/ )
This is what Densil looks like...
Spoiler: show

Should anyone from Watford-ish area wish to go on a quest and photograph Densil, POTD would be ready and waiting to showcase the random snapshot. :-D

Might need to rethink that Mick with the new ULEZ charging zones. Our is your Jap ULEZ compliant?

I can provide the necessary wheels ;) I now find myself with not one but two ULEZ compliant vehicles... Remarkably perhaps, Pix is...

My Main driver is indeed ULEZ compliant, but not a problem for this mission anyway as Watford is outside the zone!! :-D

Was Watford not included? I thought everything inside the M25 was going to be ULEZ?

No, as you can see from the map I have added to the last post. The ULEZ is bounded by the Greater London boundary not the M25! :-D
