Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Being near the river, it'll be otters up to their mischief... They get blamed for everything in Paggers
True actually, we do indeed have a thriving bevy* of otters living in the rivers hereabouts
* Bevy is the usual collective noun for otters although family, lodge and romp are also used. Romp is a particularly good one as it describes their playful nature...

Nothing for POTD today as all I've really done is competed in a duathlon at Mallory Park. I left my phone in the car as British Triathlon rules forbid them in transition or out on the course and besides, I saw nothing new to photograph really... Been there so many times before...

That was a good read, they did miss the fact that they like to live in the roof tops in the UK. That's why so many roofers are bitten by them

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
The only thing different here today are hundreds of huge slugs brought out by the rain.
Not going to take pictures of them 'orrible things.
Odd coincidence that a slug features strongly in a book I am reading.
