I still haven't solved the problem, and it exasperates my brain when the check engine lights up during strong accelerations, overtaking.I assume a gas leak at the exhaust manifold, and I want to replace the gaskets, can the gas leak at the exhaust manifold trigger this fault code?

As you've changed the turbo, you should be able to eliminate the last to items of the suspect list, so focus on the vacuum circuit. Check the Turbo control solenoid (39) on the diagram to make sure it is functioning properly and the vacuum pump.

hi guys, were you able to fix the issue? i seem to have going on the exact same problem… engine light when accelerating with dtc P0238 and i also have a new turbo installed after the old one leaking slightly…
kind of clueluess what to do, thought of changing boost pressure sensor but during diagnosis it seems to catch the correct values… but a weird thing is that during idle the values on the graph are not constant, its a changing pattern of different highs and lows

muresan504 wrote: 08 May 2023, 16:43 It's very strange, because it's an intermittent code that only appears during strong acceleration. The car does not go into limp mode. The code is cleared with the diagbox, but it appears again when I accelerate strongly.

Hello colleague, I have had the same problem for 4 days, could you share what happened to you and how you solved it, I would be extremely grateful, because in 8 days I have a long trip ahead of me, and I got this error code P0238 high pressure on the turbocharger, no loss of power, no loss of oil, no increased fuel consumption, the error is erased with diagnostics, after driving in one case after 120km, then after about 40km and today about 80km traveled it lights up, it is erased.
The intercooler was replaced 8 months ago with a new one, the DPF was cleaned 1500km ago. The hoses are ok, the EGR cooler was replaced with a new one due to another repair and it was found to be torn in the area of ??the bracket. The EGR was also removed surprisingly clean.
I would be grateful to you or to someone who can help even a little to determine where exactly the problem comes from and whether it is serious.
Thank you very much, stay healthy!
