Occasionally I dip into the "Electric Viking" 's Channel (he's an Aussie actually you get used to him)

Here he looks at the electric sportscar...not quite the Triumph Spitfire or MGB but the SC-01 (Sportscar 01)

It has been trailed before and foundered on the rocks that is the price structure of the EV market in Europe. Maybe its India not China that is going to produce a straightforward Electric Car at a disruptive price when it lands in Europe.

Jaguar Land Rover's parent are giving it a go...in India for now though...

Personally I like the looks of that car quite a lot but think it looks even better with a couple of subtle adjustments: :-D

I've made further alterations to the Alibaba and now I'd definitely have one if it could do 40mph and 100 mile range:
3rd generation!!

Took me until that version to work out what you had done. Yes the windscreen is hideously out of proportion, but I do think the "car" is smaller than the picture would give the impression of. When a full size adult is sitting in it the cut down screens would maybe have head and shoulders well above the windscreen. :-D

The article tells you more about it. Good old fashioned familiar lead acid batteries! and not the greatest top speed! Enough range for what it would be used for though.

I don't think it looks too bad, allowing for the rake uplift of the screen I think it would still give protection like a motorcycle screen does. In my original redesign I also broadened the radiator header tank to take away the "tall upright" look of the front end which I think makes it look far more in proportion!! :-D

None whatsoever, I find the Ioniq to be really ugly.
Like the majority of modern cars, SUV/4x4 in particular.

Didn't know they had electrified it though. The Delta, that is.
