Underneath that bus is where a section of the Brighton sewer tours take place. You emerge via a large manhole cover not far from there. Been on the tours a few times The video is 'interactive' in that you can drag the view around.

In the village of Bolney is a residential school called Farney Close which my brother attended. My brother was quite athletic when he was younger and used to enjoy running. I went down with my parents one year to the sports day to see him in action. My brother did quite well in the races he competed in but was soundly beaten by a chap called Frances Thompson who was a couple of years younger. Frances then went on to set the school record in all the other sports he took part in. When he left the school Frances became better known as Daley, probably our finest ever decathlete. Talk about being on a hiding to nothing!

Sadly Daley does not have very good memories of Farney Close but my brother does and still keeps in touch with one of his (now retired) teachers.

I have been having a bit of a delve as I wasnt sure myself. Initially I remembered the advert and thought it was Beachy Head. I will remove it and maybe resurrect it for Kent if it is further along.

PS edited it out and put up a video of the Goodwood Revival instead with many cars in Sussex whizzing around the track.

Some lovely old newsreel of the World Airspeed Record being broken in 1946 by Group Capt. Donaldson and Bill Waterton, flying out from Tangmere and along the Sussex coast. At the end of the newsreel you get a perfect shot of an immaculate Standard Issue Mk3 RAF moustache modeled by Bill Waterton. These were phased out not long after this and replaced by the Mk4/5 model with increased high speed stability



What a difference 75 years makes. This is now what Tangmere looks like:

Chances are, if you've eaten a pepper in the UK, it's come from those glasshouses as they're the biggest grower in the UK by quite a margin. They grow about 68 million of them a year

Or Sussex By The Sea, played on this occasion by the East Grinstead Concert Band...... which is preferable to the crowd at a Brighton And Hove Albion home match 'singing' along to it

This is in the "too long didnt watch it all category...but it shows even with a dip in that the White Cliffs of Sussex are spectacular, and a decent dog walk, and he shoves up his drone from time to time for some aerial views.

Historic County and it’s towns.

I am assuming the biggies of Manchester and Liverpool, and the bit at the bottom of the lakes along to Barrow in Furness will be part of Lancashire’s day in the Spotlight

Early strike to get things moving

When you spot something like this you just have to get the camera out. Unfortunately mine has gone kaput, so I had to persuade my youngest daughter to take one with her I-phone. Luckily she is quite used to my foibles so wasn't entirely surprised by my request, having previously snapped a The Renault 4GTl in a traffic jam, and the nice 3-wheeler.
