Oil leak on turbo? (pics) c4 picasso 1.6 Bluehdi eat6
Is this oil leaking from the turbo? Is it serious? Would an extended warranty cover this repair?

Best to check you warranty booklet, it is quite specific on what it does and doesn't cover.
Just make sure you have had it services according tot he recommended intervals and to the specified standards, and just as importantly, make sure you have been using the correct specification and grade of engine oil as this is critical to correct operation of the engine and components which is specified in the warranty.

That will almost certainly be oil from the crankcase breather system, it returns from the rocker cover to be passed through the turbo and burned, it is normal as long as the pipework is not blocked up with gunge. neglecting oil changes can cause this, as can short journeys.

I've just had exact same issue on my B78 (65 plate).
However, both pipes coming into the turbo were clear. upon stripping the area down, it looks like splater of oil (as in pic above) was coming past the final o-ring of the pipe that attaches to the turbo inlet.
The o-ring in question is a normal nitrile 60mmOD 51mmID with a width of 4.6mm. STD o-rings are 60 x 50 x 5. So ive swappen mine out and hey presto. leaks gone, but nasty stain remain.

That is normal, as long as it is not driplets on the hose.
I have various repair handbooks and wiring diagrams for C5 mk1, Xantia, XM, Berlingo and C3 mk1.
I have Lexia/Diagbox (Sweden) and Servicebox/sedre
