As it happens I have a few today but not ready yet! It's your fault for starting the counties of the day thread Neil, we've all been posting there!!NewcastleFalcon wrote: 15 Mar 2022, 17:35 No posts on the FCF's most popular thread since Friday 11th March
It is Picture(s) of the Day after all, not "Picture (s) at unspecified intervals"
Anyone care to contribute![]()

So had to go to the mancave today and on the way another beautiful bunch of wild daffs, proof that spring is upon us and the evidence of how fussy Hertfordshire rats are!!

My shutter clicking also had the spring theme, starting out with a host of daffodils, followed by a pair of oyster catchers, followed by primroses as wild as wild can be in the woods, and a lovely gnarled old crooked tree still in its winter plumage, by a gate.
The quantity should make up for the last few days

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
A delayed one and not even the one I wanted, with them both cutting the cake (granddaughter and boyfriend).
Lily is the baby due next month (not the 14th, I hope).
My youngest daughter is called Lily too, or at least everyone knows her as Lily, she is really Laura.
When she was little, her eldest brother called her Lily Laura and the Lily part stuck.
Ironically, he was married to a Lily. That didn't stick.

They are installing a new road for us!
It was posted last week to give resident the opportunity to park elsewhere. The current shenanigans are highly amusing. People who should have know being unable to enter or leave the street.
Two blokes just carted an enormous TV from the peripheral road.
Food deliveries the same, the amount of food deliveries (fast food, not proper food) is staggering.
One of the nitwit neighbours, works shifts, was very disgruntled yesterday. He works at the local armaments factory so may be going postal when he comes home today.

I had been up in Ellesmere again recently (visiting Mum again), and I got in a few pictures, including a load from "Black Country Metal Works".

I am not sure I've ever seen under 5.0l/100km on the C5 until today. Summer tires on OEM alloys, 150km one way.

A rare sight for me to start the day, I thought my phone was working unusually well so I ran a Wifi test. I was right, it is:

It's my tester that calls it fast but it is ok considering it is not over fibre into my house

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
It is a bit unfair as this is the trip meter for the last trip only, so about 320km, but hey...
It was mostly on A roads as you would say in UK or European roads as it's called in my neck of the woods. The maximum allowed speed outside the locality is, basically, 110km/h and in the locality usually 60km/h but there are some exceptions that are up to 80km/h. Hm... we might need a different thread for this game
