An Audi whitething.
Only a glimpse in oncoming traffic.

I did spot a Quattroporte though, that must be equal to half a dozen Teslas?

A green flashed VW from the front which didn't look like an SUV or Golf. Much flatter, more Passat like nose but couldn't see the back!! :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

This is the full list of VW all electric as of now Mick. The ID5 and ID5 GTX are on their way , but only the ID3, ID4 and e-golf and e-Up! are the only ones entitled to the green flash, none of their hybrids meet the zero-emissions qualification.

Maybe if it looked "different" it was an ID3/ID4 in GTX trim.

I had a quick look at the range and decided it must have been a white e-golf with its front wheels in a gulley!! :-D

Three Teslas, a mod 3 and 2 mod S.
Had been trying to start mu daughter's C3. Stood for three months, flat battery and tyre.
Removed the battery but before disconnecting it locked the doors - not. Central locking went on strike.

Charged the battery, refitted, same thing but also wouldn't start.
Repeated and all was well, blew the tyre up (she has a nelectric pump in the car) and took it for a run around the local industrial estate, so about three miles. Three Teslas in that short run.

I did find it difficult to select sixth gear - mainly 'cause there isn't one :(

Saw what I presume was a Hyundai Ioniq 5 emerging from Dobbies resplendent in beige. Did a double-take so more than likely to be something new, and I have only seen the rear of one example so far overtaking me on the A1.

Have to look at the colour chart, see how accurate my beige was.

Regards Neil

PS Not that accurate more likely the one on the left. The Ioniq 5 looks like it comes with the dullest colour chart possible. https://configure.hyundai.co.uk/build/a ... reen-pearl

Two Teslas, a white 3 and a blue S.

Went to the police station to confirm I am alive for the Swedish pension - usually go to the Consulate but the Consul retired but said I could use any police station.
But the one in Chester-Le-Street had no parking, the parking for the health centre is pay and display and guess who had no coins. Had to drive out, then about a half mile to Aldi, who's car park backs onto the health centre. Handy as I was going shopping anyway, just not to that Aldi.

New blue Tesla on the walk through the car park.

I expected a hassle in the police station but it was dealt with very quickly and easily, safe for another year.
Most police stations are closed. Washington one, a mile from me, closed to the public due to Covid.

Looking for my passport I found my original English driving licence. Can't remember where that thread is now.

The British Gas van at Tesco charge point again and a Hyundai of some sort alongside, didn't go close enough to see which model, took the Citroen for a run to blow the cobwebs off. :)

Another two white Tesla 3s, one on the A167 near Durham, the other in Barley Mow.

A Leaf taxi, an Ionic Electronic, a Half-electric Prius in deplorable condition, looks as though it had something stuck to it and partly ripped off, along with paint.
And another possible Prius, all parked.

Went into Leven today to see John's Merc EQA and do the Santa run at the same time. So, here is a pic of the Charging Point behind Leven High Street. Two cars on charge - a Mini and a Seat. John showed me his new (as in one week old) Home Charging Point. He reckons his rate is just under 18p per KwH and his estimate of running rate is 2.2 m/KwH (he has no desire to find out how frugal he could be since charging at his work is totally free). He has a Merc App and some kind of App with 10 different suppliers available on it so he reckons he will not struggle to find a charging point. He used the super charger in Starbucks in Perth, behind the Mercedes Dealers and got 8 Kwh in 11 minutes! I have included some shots of his Home Charger with its coloured Led Light patterns. More things to play with on his phone.

Here is a Pic of the car the started us on our 3008 hybrid odyssey. A pristine DS5. John and his wife (my wife's cousin) love it and are loath to get rid of it despite its age.
