Re: Notices..what have you spotted?
They bring back memories, I bought a brand new Suffolk Colt in the '60s and I don't buy much new.

Re: Notices..what have you spotted?
My dad could have had a hand in your top label there Neil, he spent all his adult working life at 'The Wolseley' Wolseley Sheep Shearing and Engineering Company.
They made all sorts of stuff, Sheep shearing machines, mowers, hay lifts and much much more.
The company is still around but is now a supplier of plumbing bits, trading worldwide as The Plumb Center.

Of course, of course: Plumb Center - A Wolseley Company. Had quite forgotten about that.
Never been a fan of Briggs and Stratton, though. Primitive American engineering. Give me a Honda anyday.
Had an Easystart (which it wasn't) Briggs ride-on mower for a while, which was rapidly swapped out for a Countax (Honda'd) one. What a difference! I service a neighbour's B&S Mountfield mower here once a year; not my favourite piece of machinery. Fortunately, lawns here a rarity.

Plumb Center is a place I avoid as the staff there are a bunch of t**ts. Unlike most of the other plumbers merchants. They are the most expensive too.

Re: Notices..what have you spotted?
I have a Honda mower Chris and must admit it does start brilliantly, its an Izzy, fitted a new deck a couple of years ago, cost over £100 but think it was worth it. I have also found Briggs and Stratton pretty good starters. I have a 16 hp OHV 'V' in my lawn tractor and it starts pretty well first time after standing all the winter - and I usually forget to charge the battery.

Re: Notices..what have you spotted?
I guess that's a local issue, we have one close by here at Monmouth where the service is excellent and when I needed parts for my gas boiler they knocked off a substantial discount from Vaillant's price.myglaren wrote: 12 Aug 2021, 10:26 Plumb Center is a place I avoid as the staff there are a bunch of t**ts. Re: Notices..what have you spotted?
It is. One opened nearer to me and the staff were great. Unfortunately closed after a year.

Re: Notices..what have you spotted?
Looks like triangle could also be correct as in the pic in my previous postmickthemaverick wrote: 14 Aug 2021, 23:16 Aah of course, circle for instruction, triangle for warning!!![]()

Then I'll settle for "A red hat" as my answer!
