Sat Nav Aerial Part Number

Hello All,

I have recently bought a C4 Grand Picasso with the Navidrive unit. However, the aerial and base were smashed and the sat nav doesn't work as a result. It is a 2008 model, and I wanted to know what the part number would be. The vin is: VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff].

No worries, ok so your aerial base is item (1) for your vehicle. There were 2 available for your specification, this one is for vehicles without the roof window.

Part number is: 6561JR and these are currently priced at £120.01 inc. VAT from Citroen. You should be able to search on this part number for a second hand one - but make sure it is exactly this part number as the bases are different depending on the telematics units installed.

I've just had a look around, and I am struggling to find this aerial base on the internet. With that part number, I can only find one listing for a new aerial base by Peugeot Citroen DS Parts, and no used bases.

Unfortunately I can't verify that other part number. 6561JR is the official part number for the telematics unit installed on your system.
If you get the wrong one you won't have the correct connections for the equipment. So finding one from an accident-damaged vehicle may be a challenge. These are not made by after-market sellers, so your only option is to buy one new form Citroen or wait until you find one matching the part number.

Ok, thank you for that! I'm going to attempt to remove the remnants of my aerial base and see where the part number 6561JR is written on there, and see if I can identify any of the used ones on the internet, or if a salvage yard can look for it. If not, I may well have to bite the bullet and buy a new one from Citroen.

You’ll rarely find the PSA part number on the parts, as they are internal part numbers.

Just for future reference for anyone else, the internal part number was 9660799280, and most of the listings online for the aerial were for that part number, rather than 6561JR. Not sure why, but I hope it is useful! This part number is stamped on the metal under the base.

6561JR is actually correct. These are the internal official PSA part numbers which may or may not correspond with external or manufacturer part numbers, but are the only ones we provide as they are the only officially PSA-provided ones. These internal numbers are what Citroen use to order parts and therefore what we have to go by.
