Not a clue but I make the following deductions, LHD, English sign writing, T bar levers, Floor mounted gearstick. So my first guess is a 4 on the floor Yank Tank? :-D

Then that would make it a Studebaker Avanti methinks?

Yes well done, and using

https://www.random.org/

and page numbers on the I spy Classic Cars thread from 1 to 170 it selected page 96
and landed on my spot of a Studebaker Avanti in Harrogate. Subsequent posts revealed I was probably in a minority of 1 who liked it. I put this video up, which reveals at one point that the body was made of Polyester and Bobins wondered if the interior was done by Brentford Nylons. :-D

Decent video if you want to find a bit more about the car

Now that is an interesting beast, for me there are elements of a few cars depending on the angle you view it from. The rear window is Jensen ish, the profile has both XJS and SM similarities. Going away from you it could be a Volvo P1800, coming towards you it has Ford Corsair features so a real mixing pot. I love some bits and hate others so not quite sure!! The interior is striking and the make up mirror and desk was amazing but not so sure about those heater controls. They look like they are imitating the throttle controls of a 4 engined aircraft!! All in all with the wings on the wrong end and the screen and rear window reversed I wonder if it was meant to be a rear engined, rear wheel steer front wheel drive car and they put the interior in the wrong way round so they had to swap the lights and steering wheel too!! :-D :-D

Nice summary Mick, its a bit marmite for sure at the front but I both like that, and the rear view which I think is its best face.

So into the main body of this current look at it, Ill bring in my actual spot from a wet day in Harrogate in July 2017

Spotted one of these on the road, would you believe it actually overtook the Leaf. It was orange and brand new 21 registration

Very rare. The bloke on the right of the screenshot builds them.
