Well an overnight bath of penetrating fluid had no real effect and after much hammering and twisting there was no movement at all #-o

In desperation I removed the sphere which released a small amount of LHM+ fluid but nothing to suggest there was any pressure left in the system BUT shortly after I thought I saw the nut drop down to the unit, it had released itself with hardly any effort from a solid grip like some sort of gravity Ninja

So somewhere / somehow / something was affected which altered the struts attitude ... vacumn :?:

Rear spheres have gone solid during the lay-up and very jiggy ride which would be OK if I had a young lady sat in there :bouncy:

Spheres undone very easy compared to my old 2.1 TD (RIP) and squirted LHM from the sphere for quite a while .... I presume that's normal due to the smaller valves on the Activa spheres :?:

I'm going to try to re-pressurise these with the DIY kit I bought off thorter if the membranes are OK there will still be some pressure left in them ....

Well that didn't go well :( suspicions confirmed membranes must have ruptured so I've ordered some new ones from GSF

Well Cento16v it appears GSF don't really know their sphere's or their ordering system is flawed, the ones they sent for my registration didn't look correct on the valve aperture and when I emailed them they confirmed they were incorrect and told me the code I needed which when I checked was for front spheres [-X

Ended up getting IFHS sphere's from AEPdirect.com which were correct and arrived next day - ride restored £75.60 total + Ltr of LHM+

Didnt have to look the location up, been there before Skull back in 2014, on a very nice sunny afternoon, with a few classic cars on display, and a very nice hot roast pork Sandwich and Chips and a glass of ale.

Posted this on the Nice Places to stop off at thread!

Neil I knew you'd recognize the location, it's looking very tidy on the outside - hopefully get to hear if there's a car show there next year ....
