A lovely bit of scenery there Old'uns :D

Today I did the Formula 5 Duathlon, a 5K run followed by a 20K bike ride followed by a second 5K run, a second 20K bike ride and finally a third 5K run 8-)

All in chilly and windy weather just wearing a trisuit :-D  It's amazing when you are racing just how much you don't notice a cold east wind!

It was magical :-D Loved every nanosecond!

Absolutely tremendous Jim. You have clearly trained yourself extremely well. I can't even remember exactly when you kicked the running/cycling off, but the enjoyment you get from it certainly comes through in your posts, and your endurance achievements are outstanding. :-D

Thanks Neil :D I'm not sure now but I've been seriously into it for a few years now... I fist started cycling seriously in 2105 and running came a little later...

You're right about me enjoying it... Especially when I'm taking part in a duathlon, my favourite discipline, god is in his heaven and all's well with the world :D

The endorphin high at the end is amazing... Who needs Class-A drugs

On the e-bikes cargo bike front, the reviewer certainly liked it and it has a few accessories to give it more purpose than
lugging cargo from the grocery store...

But they couldn't stand up on the pedals, as the North East Gas Board have also disconnected the chain!

I had a friend in my youth that used to deliver for the butchers on a bike similar to that - it did have a saddle though.

A lot of the big companies are very much developing last mile vehicles.

This is an interesting video, a decent run through of its features, plenty interesting elements (flax fibre composite body, special tyres etc , and an airfield somewhere in the UK, and no doubt an enterprising start up.

Bit more than a cargo bike but an interesting development. I enjoyed finding out about it and did the 20 minutes or so. A lot of these vids are a bit wordy, but I was interested enough in the story to listen.
