Gave it a watch Gibbo and was pleased it was presented in a mostly positive manner. The electrification of personal transport in Europe and the UK is undoubtedly going to happen, and one by one, the legacy automakers are beginning to get it. Even Toyota are joining in with 100% BEV's on the way, in spite of their hybrid obsession.

It touched on a lot of the areas of concern which exist in 2021. By 2025 the landscape of EV models available and in serious volume production, and infrastructure development, will mean that a lot of those concerns will fade.

Didn't shout at the telly once, which is a decent enough measure although the "maintenance" whingers did slightly get my goat. By 2030 the mix of cars on the road will year on year be an increasing proportion of electric to ICE, although at 2030 the pie chart will probably still show ICE as the greatest slice. It is surely better to have vehicles which require less maintenance, and the "maintenance industry" has to, and will adapt.

Then again they are making cars with so much software in them, and that's EV's and ICE, that should they malfunction its over to silicon valley to sort it out :-D

First in the flesh spot for one of these. Striking colour and look whether you like it or loathe it.

From other bits of info I would not be surprised if it springs from NHSfleetsolutions.

You certainly know your Taycans Mick :-D

Might as well put the dashboard in for the full set....bit of a Porsche day today. Normally don't even register with me, but the colour was just so odd, and stand out, it gave it a bit of presence and had to get the camera out.

This turned up next to me. Lit up inside as I was dumping my shopping in my car. I thought it said 'Entry Activated'
Actually said 'Sentry Activated'
Thought it was going to drive me home.
Bloke turned up too. Said he was very pleased with it, best car he has ever had.

Also some small black thing with the green flash on the left of the registration plate.

Most plunge-takers I have come across and had a chat with come across as thoroughly enjoying the electric car experience, and are more than willing to chat about it. Second to actually having a test drive, or hiring one for the weekend to see for yourself whether you might enjoy having an electric car too.

Fair to say I always wanted to give it a try, and so far no regrets.

So today's spots...

White Leaf, Black Leaf, white leaf, black leaf, red TESLA model X and yes another 70 Reg Audi E-tron...selling like hot cakes :-D

Followed a big black Tesla through a small village with narrow streets today... Gosh, aren't they big and wide

So wide in fact the driver had difficulty in getting through the village... I'm seen smaller lorries....
