One of the Aston Martins I'd guess, DB4 maybe with triple Skinner Union carbs.

Could this car have been used in a certain TV series by a soon to be James Bond I wonder? Is the colour Bahama Yellow rather than Banana Yellow? Hmm :?:
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Yes thats right Mick, bit of a slip on the colour from me!

I'll post it up in all its glory. There are some superb photos of it on the sales particulars from Bonhams May 2014, when it was sold. Lovely looking car in my opinion.

Totally agree there Neil, for me possibly the best of all the Astons after the iconic DB5. I quite enjoyed the series too, just a pity TC wasn't given an Interceptor to drive!! :-D

The Stirling engine hasn't had a single mention on here. Neat idea and old tech invented in Scotland by Robert Stirling 1816 ish.

Shame not to give his moment on the FCF, so here he is.

As well as being part of potentially another future "energy storage solution", currently on some large solar installations the Stirling engine is already part of the present as the video discusses. I like the top of a cup of tea toy as a novelty :-D

Is it the same engine in yours though?

I was aware of the HG problems but that has allegedly been fixed.
With it being a flat four I imagined a GS motor but that is far bigger and more complex.

If yours needs fixing, remember to bring your toothbrush!

Yes it is the same I think, an EJ25 series engine. Mine is number 081860 and is running very well at the moment. I hope to get its engine service done this week together with full fluids change throughout the car!!

Watched his piece on the Deltic a few days ago. Most interesting.

He's OK except for the hand gestures.

It's nice to prove my memory has not completely dissolved, when I found this old thread, well I have just watched this Youtube video, and wondered if anyone else had, British engineering takes on the challenge of Zero emission ICE's
Interesting what Lard Bamford says about costs on EV's and the response to Elon Musk.

Ed China is suggesting in his latest episode that he might do a Hydrogen Range Rover conversion. Along with an electric one for good measure.
