Well the scene with the naked eye hasnt translated to the image. Shafts of light, beaming through the clouds, and illuminating random bits of the countryside while the surrounding parts remain dull.

All this discussion about today's auction has brought me to my 4300th post so time for a celebratory car. It's definitely going to get harder and harder from here on so I don't know how long I'll be able to keep finding cars but I have found a novel one for this:
Alvis Firefly (4300cc) 1934

You missed your 1234 likes mark Mick!

I think with a reasonable flurry of activity the next 1000 mark for posts on the OTCL is near coming up...in fact it has already this one puts it on 90003 :-D

So a 90,000 celebratory pic may be in order too!

Good stuff and a nice pick out of "Crimson Tide" a phrase which Steely Dan Fans the world over associate with the song Deacon Blues. "They call Alabama the Crimson Tide, they call me Deacon Blues"

Seeing as this is post number 90008 now, heres 90008.

One of the many threads in the Off topic Chat Lounge for entertainment education and amusement is

"What do you know about Norfolk" :?:

Well I now know that 90008 is named the "The East Anglian" and here it is in Norwich in all its glory

You have to wonder how they came to the conclusion that the beer is only good for the first 20 years

I reckon that must be a misprint of some sort because naming a day that far ahead makes no sense at all!! :-D

To be fair, it is a lambic beer, so already tastes 'interesting' and they are known to be good for 20 years in the bottle.
