Ds5 media screen model?

Hello guys im just having hard times to finding the compatible screen model for our 2012 ds5’s multimedia system.

I just need to change the ecran not a whole screen system.

I found some sellers from aliexpress but nobodys sure...

I hope i can get some advices. Thank you...

Ecran means screen in French so that would be the whole multifunction screen as in your picture.

You have the part number from your old one (9801286980), so you should be able to search on that to get a compatible unit. Be warned that not all these screens are the same - they have different hardware and software, so it is essential you get the correct one (DG4=Hi Res) or you may have some communication or incompatibility issues when connected to the DS5.

Unfortunately we can't help with that because Peugeot / Citroen / DS do not sell the actual LCD panel separately, only the complete units. So you'll have to research that yourself and take a chance.

It's easy enough to change, but your problem will be that Continental won't sell the parts directly to the public and won't even supply the LCD panel to the dealer. They may only supply parts to their authorised repairers, but screens are usually just replaced.

So your alternative (apart from buying a complete replacement screen like most people would do), is to try and find a fake Chinese knock-off that may or may not work.

But it's your time and your wallet, so best of luck in getting one.
