Re: Picture(s) of the day....
I've had a browse and I found 6 pages which may have some interest but not particularly car related so not suited to that thread. I'll put the first one up here just because it was my pride and joy in the collecting days. I'd love to see the envelope that it fits on:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

"and now for something completely different" 'I'm sure I saw something moving in there'
Peter
Apologies for the picture quality - it was dark in there.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
I've hit the 2700 posts and it would be so obvious to post up a 2.7 V6 C5 as my celebration but you know me better than that so here's another 2.7l car well worthy of a celebratory picture not to mention a whatsthisthen on the side:

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
An absolute feast James, Botany, Entomology, and Ornithology Club well catered for. If you had nipped across to the Three Swans and photographed the Oxford 26/Sarum 27 milepost that would have just been the icing on the cake!Hell Razor5543 wrote: 21 Jun 2020, 19:58 I saw my Mum today in Hungerford (near to St Lawrence Church, and the camera came with me. You need to keep an eye on Egret's as they have a habit of spitting at you as they fly past. Their aim is terrible though. We have a couple at work - I refer to them as 'The grim reaper dressed in white' as they have a habit of sitting motionless hunched on branches

I came across a nice page from Czechoslovakia (as it was then) for the Entomology, and Ornithology Clubs in my stamp album:

Own work, marsh orchid?
Probably a marsh orchid, but might be a common spotted depending on the leaves.

I've mentioned it before but this link takes you to identify.plantnet (pre selected western europe) where you can add a picture either from a url or add one from your files directly.
https://identify.plantnet.org/query/weurope/
Came up with Southern Marsh Orchid from your picture on the forum

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
In the late '60s I bought a Farina Morris Oxford estate that had been imported from Lebanon for very little money. It was LHD, didn't have a straight panel on it, the seats were falling apart and the suspension was bent. I spent sometime at the scrap yard and replaced the seats and the mechanical bits and resprayed it, I spent a lot of time but very little money on it, because .... it didn't have a spot of rust on it anywhere.
We ran it for about five years and had it when we moved down here, I eventually converted it to RHD and fitted a BMC 1500 diesel, it did stirling service.
Peter
Guess what - I've found a picture of it.
