I've only just seen your thread - and what a beautiful DS you have there. But, I'm a bit intrigued as to what you find endearing about the AX generally - it was never something that particularly stood out for me, but you've obviously spent a great deal of time and energy on her. Being keen on AX's you'll probably enjoy this month's Practical Classics if its available in NL; there's a decent sized feature on an AX 1.4D this month (£3,000 Coupes on the cover).

Likely it'll be shuffled on to a new owner soon if the PC Team are true to form, maybe someone here fancies it.

Heathen ! AX's are great cars.....mine is an AX TFT (Tinfoil + Full Throttle)

reminds me of that other small shoebox that cane before it LNE / LNAor something, but at least the AX looked a bit better. Just too small for me as I’m a bit claustrophobic, so have never had anything smaller than a GS!

It's nice to see the little AX getting some love. I owned one briefly back in my younger days (it was £50 from a scrapyard with the driver's side stoved in that badly I had to drive with the window down for my elbow & it ate the driveshafts!) Was still good fun though, could wring it's neck everywhere and still be within the speed limits.

Would have another if I wasn't so lanky/didn't have a family to fit in it.
