The 1.6puretech 180 and the 1.6 puretech 225 is the same engine;Or different engine;

Looks like the same engine - derivatives of the 1.6 turbo chain cam direct injection engine used widely in PSA and MINI cars.

There are euro 6.2 and 6.3 versions of the engines - EP6FADTXD & EP6FADTX - so I suspect similar with different tweaks.

It's down to your preference - the one with more BHP will have more emissions and lower fuel economy, but more power.

I I'm afraid maybe the 180s isn't strong enough in torque, especially....Is consumption very different? (for the city)

Have a look - you can see the emissions and power on the website - scroll down until you see 'Other engines' and that will show the 225 - but all the puretech ones are there:
