Hi, without removing the front bumper bar is there another way to get access to the R/L indicator lights/bulbs. Has any one taken any pics to show
how this is best done, without breaking anything. Also has any one replaced the bulbs with LED version if so what type and are these
compatible with the electronic system. Any input or diagrams or layouts would be appreciated. Tx

Re: Citroen C5X7 HDI 2011 MY11 - Front Indicator light replacement procedure ?
Separate issues here:
1) Indicator lamps are contained within the fog lamp housing - you do not need to remove the bumper! Remove the small triangular black plastic cover (A) (note: if you have front parking sensors, this will incorporate one of the sensors, so be careful not to damage it).
Once you remove the black cover, you can access the Torx screw holding in the light unit (B). Use trim removal tools to lever it out gently. The indicator bulb is removed by pressing on the side bars of the lamp holder, Remove the connector by pulling it, whilst pressing on the grey tab with a flat blade screwdriver.
2) As for the bulbs - not recommended to replace these - it will cause problems with the electronics if not the correct CAN type of bulbs, plus you may need load resistors and there's not a lot of room there - there's nothing really wrong with the stock indicator bulbs in my opinion.

I've deleted your other post as you've asked this in three different places. The answer is in my post above. NO bumper removal for indicators!
I've answered your other query about the bumper & DRLs in your other thread - please don't mix the issues.

Can the actual bulbs be removed from the harness itself ?

The bulbs are sold with the bulb holders, as if you try and remove the bulb and manage not to snap any lugs, you will still have the long pins that can be wedged in tight - and risk snapping as you try and pull them out. There is no point anyway, as you can't get these bulbs sold like that - they come with the holder that just located back in with a turn.
Don't be tempted to try LED indicator bulbs - you will end up with electrical problems and rapid flashing.
