Hi, please could someone help.
We brought a 2008 Citroen C5 diesel.
We are looking to use the bluetooth option to connect phone, but when you go into the menu there is no option for bluetooth.
So do I just need to buy a bluetooth module and plug in on back of radio?
Photo of radio attached.
I have seen the attached module for sale on ebay, is this the right module for my car radio and do i need anything else.
Thank you

Re: Help with C5 bluetooth module
Not necessarily. Early models had a separate hands few kit as you illustrated, but later models had it built in to the head unit if you have an RD45.
Post up your VIN and I’ll tell you what you have.

Re: Help with C5 bluetooth module
Ok, so you have the basic RD4 / MP3 system.
To be honest, the easiest solution would be either to purchase and RD45 system that has bluetooth phone and audio streaming built in (you will need to manually connect the pre-existing microphone wiring directly to the back of the head unit - so some DIY is needed here) or get a third party unit like a Yatour here that will use the CD changer port at the back of the head unit to mimic a CD Changer (once enabled via a doagnostic tool))

Thank you for that.
Will have a look at getting a RD45 i think. Apart from the microphone, is all the other connectors on the back of radio the same?

Yes, - the display screen you have is a level C display - but what version of software it has I can't advise you of - it may need an update or a newer screen.
The wiring harness will be the same - but as said the microphone in the centre roof console will manually need wiring into the correct pins at the back of the unit. Also, the Head unit will need VIN coding to the C5 and the configuration will need to be updated to ensure it is recognised by the vehicle and that it functions correctly.
There's multiple posts on it in the RD45 Section:
