It looks to be a bit of a work in progress.

If there is some info you need then one of the forum members should be able to help. Just ask.

When we started the project, the intention was to create a lot of content - unfortunately it takes a lot of resourcing, editing, formatting and coding to do and as with anything - time.

In my case I have only added specific information that covers PSA marques like engine oil recommendations, Diagbox diagnostic updates and electrical wiring diagram symbols and wiring codes. But the Wiki is not designed to be, nor will it ever be, an 'online car or workshop manual'. It is actually quicker for me to post a diagram or pictures and a technical post (minutes) on the main forum than can take hours on the wiki. So in reality, that will likely be used as a static reference for people to consult as needed - like the wiring codes.

For general technical enquiries it currently remains the better option to ask here on the main forums.

So a lot of the sections you are looking at are placeholders - intended to provide a common layout for each vehicle - but as it stands very few have content.

ok, was after more info on the lads picasso as its coming "home" soon, throttle pedal position sensor pin out for a vdo unit that they say was never fitted to this car! Its the 4 pin variety with numbers vdo3400211 9643365680 445821001002

I have made some "break out" wires so can connect scope and "see" whats happening, but some defo info on pin out would be good to keep guess work down.

will make a new thread when she comes home as need to rule out oil inside wires and ecu etc., as it may be that. I did notice some oil on one of the cam sensor pins during that time..........

I've already provided the injection diagram for you in your other thread along with the wires for the throttle position sensor:

viewtopic.php?p=600282#p600596

Yours is the non-accelerator pedal version if I'm not mistaken and that has 3 wires only. Item 1316 on the diagrams.

But.... if you are retro-fitting....

The later builds that had the electronic accelerator pedal had the following:

Pin 1 Yellow - Accelerator pedal 1 position info
Pin 2 Green - Accelerator pedal 2 position info
Pin 3 Blue - + 5 volt accelerator pedal position indicator power supply
Pin 4 Purple - Accelerator pedal position earth

Thank you thank you thank you........some defo info at last.

the wiring diagram you sent me ages ago now is for a 3 wire throttle pedal position sensor, but the lads picasso has the 4 wire throttle pedal position sensor vdo 9643365680 which is cable operated from the actual throttle pedal and mounted on the bulkhead close to the brake master cylinder res from memory, appearing to be factory fitted, and does have pin 1 yellow, pin 2 green, pin 3 light blue and pin 4 light purple , so some progress made......will keep forum informed of progress etc when she comes home to the car port.
the last time we ran it if did not give any fault codes but was misbehaving wildly, popping and banging and ign advance going all over the place even to minus 20 degrees!! then the speedo gave out and mis behaved. we parked it away from the car port so i didnt want to drive the dam thing into the quarry and torch it!!

if you happen to have the wiring diagram for this set up as from the factory, that would be fantastic and a real great help.
