They do tend to do that! :sprint:

Here's a couple I saw at Ouistreham just before we found out that the ferry was cancelled due a dockers strike. The Citroen badged one is electric (or hybrid)

Underneath all that its a Citroen 2CV, and according to Autotrader's Vehicle check a CITROEN 2CV6 DOLLY 1986.

Cant really find anything to match it on the net, Hoffmann did 2cv Convertibles but not quite like that one.

The body tub looks like it owes a lot to a classic Mini - bit like the Beaufords in that respect.

Saab 900 in the waiting lanes for ferry boarding last night.

Some might count that as a classic, some not.

What was odd about this one was it was still in full Swedish police markings, even the two revolving beacons on the roof.

Who would have thought it the Swedes use the same word for the boys in blue as we do north of Watford! (or maybe more accurately north of Hadrian's Wall!)

Pronounced as we Henglish people do though - Police, not Poliss. Single 's' therefore a long 'i'.

Seen two weeks ago in Falmouth. The red Imp reminded me of my first car which was a green estate version called the Husky.
The blue Renault looked very tidy for its age, was in the car park of Pendennis Castle.

All photos my own work.

If you retain a bit of nostalgic affection for the Imp, just a couple of days ago Eifion posted up a very nice "Commer Imp" on the AA Box Challenge thread

The red one in your pic is an Imp Californian, and an excellent spot.

Seeing as it Imp half hour, I will dig up this Belgian Sunbeam spotted in Barnard Castle in 2015. It is a Sunbeam Chamois with the Sunbeam name being used outside the UK.

Back in the 1980s when I used to occasionally go to the weekday meet at Arlington Raceway (Wednesday evenings ?), there was a section during the evening for a 'run what yer brung' event where members of the public could put their cars around the oval and against the clock. I can remember an Imp (possibly a Stiletto) being a regular attendant. I can also remember someone wrecking their Fiat (131 ? 132 ?) against the barriers

A no camera spot today, a crop of classics from Helensburgh Classic Car Association in deepest Northumberland on tour.

In line we had a MGB, an Austin Healey, a Lotus Elan, and a pair of Mercedes this type of thing

and a bit of colateral trivia, Helensburgh famous for its coat of arms featuring Scooby-Doo and Shaggy
