Gear oil, for filling gearboxes with EP90 or EP140 back in the day.
it was a good piece of kit but a bit top heavy when full, there must have been hundreds of gallons of oil through it since I got it new back in September 1965.

In the world of Northumbrian Tractor Brag this would be known as 3-4-5 stottin'. I suspect only beaten by a very unlikely prial of 3's.

Church clocks...
This one in Coningsby has a single handed clock which is huuuuge! Reportedly the largest single handed clock in the world. The centre is even red! Didn't manage to get my own pic, so linked to this one:

Re: Picture(s) of the day..
One from me today, I've selected a handful of pix that I felt might make good PoTD's from my archives.
I quite like this one, taken in Bergues.

Re: Picture(s) of the day..
Just been to a classic car, bike and tractor show up the road. No Xants or BXs, but they're generally in normal use and not classed as classics yet over here. I've got 39 photos so I'll start with 2 and you can let me know whether to keep going or stop?

Re: Picture(s) of the day..
Keep them coming for me. Spread them around a few threads if you like...
I do like a nice two tone.....and the one on the right looks very much like a Simca Vedette Versailles.
Nice that you picked that one out. I have a liking for the ligne-Claire artwork of the likes of Thierry Dubois, Jean-luc Delvaux, and Francois Roussel. Think Tintin-esque
.
Like the yellow Renault Caravelle in my avatar.
Here is another evocative image by Jean-luc Delvaux, featuring a lovely two-tone combination, with a Simca Vedette Versailles leading.

Regards Neil
