Rusty Wrecks-Your Photos (Originals please)
Idea shamelessly nicked from Practical Classics "Rust in Peace" feature.
Your excuse to photograph any rusting, overgrown vehicle you discover, or your favourite scrapyard photos.
Here's my starter for ten from Herefordshire
Regards Neil

Or would you prefer a more 'abandoned' look?

Re: Rusty Wrecks-Your Photos (Originals please)
Excellent Mike that will do nicely. Hope there is plenty of scope to join in. I know of a "nice" bubble car rusting away in garden fairly close by which is a quite an unusual find, and several farms rusters of more modern vintage so there's plenty to be going at if the thread slows down!
When I was ferreting around a scrapyard the other day, there were quite a few "newer Vehicles" wonder if the various scrappage scheme vehicles go to parts dismantlers before heading to the crusher.
The corsa I was getting bits of wasn't going to be staying around long, and I had carte blanche to take off anything I wanted for next to nothing before it made its way across the road to the EMR facility.
Regards Neil

Not so much rust on this one, but it hasn't moved in around 20 years....... until this weekend (hopefully).
My old Land Rover - about 43 years old, and hopefully to be dragged out of its slumber and trailered away to a mates place where he'll tinker on it, replace the engine, do some fettling, then at some unidentified point in the future, I'll go and pick it up in MOT'd and working condition

Nice Pics, and a qurky French Design. The Peugeot Q3A of the 1940's had a similar sloping front end but it looks most similar to this, described as a "RENAULT AHS 3 Plateau ridelles "LA MEUSE" (1946)"

This fine beast near Canyon de Chelly Arizona, 2012. I think the sign is ironic but wan't about to ask.

Re: Rusty Wrecks-Your Photos (Originals please)
staying with the USA theme, had this come past me as I enjoyed my Big Mac earlier, in a really shoddy state, but characterful for it and with the most amazing V8 burble.
Bottoms of Doors, Cills and rear corner pillars all looked pretty rotten, with really appalling front wing (fender) fit on both sides.
Nice to see something in 'original' nick, albeit not sure of its ultimate future if its left like it for very long.
Plate on it is a UK 'B' suffix so about 1962 and the rear fender script I think reads Bel Air, so potentially a heck of a valuable vehicle.
There does appear to be a Christiana Motel in Pennsylvania USA, with approximately the correct illustration to its signage, so possibly this was their company vehicle.
