How to save report in Diagbox

Unread post by Fake Concern »

When I close Diagbox I don't get the question "Do you want to save a report?" I used to but lately I haven't. I have looked and can't see how to do this.

All the saved reports are from sessions several Months ago

I'm not sure if it's because of the different Diagbox version but I've never been asked if I want to save the report; they are just saved automatically.

I'm on 7.63 I think.

Now you say it, I think mine may have done as well. Either way it doesn't do it now and it would really help if it did!

Those listed in the screen shot are 'Sessions'. Each 'Session' can store multiple reports.

A Navigation Report is created when the vehicle is identified and ends at the end of the session (when a new vehicle is selected or DiagBox is closed. All operations performed during a session are recorded.

Pressing the search (magnifying glass) at the bottom right of the screen, allows you to search on:
  • Navigation?Report
  • Parameter?Measurements?Report?
  • Inspection?Report
  • Preparation?of?New?Vehicle?Report
  • Physical?Measurement?Report
  • Accounting?Operations?Report
  • Diagnostic?Report
  • Fault?Log?Report
  • Print?Screen
If there are no more reports, it may be because the session was ended without closing Diagbox down properly. I can't see that there is a limit anywhere as these are ultimately stored on your laptop,

I have tried searching with the magnifying glass already and no more reports seem to exist.
Both today and yester day I completed more sessions and tried closing Diagbox both with the red x in top right corner and also with the "quit" in the drop down on the left. Still it wont save the session. What else can I try?

I was wondering, is it possible to export all reports and import them back to another PC/Windows installation?
The only option that I found is to save them as PDF, one by one...
If someone knows where they are stored, please let me know. Probably it will be possible to copy/paste the folder.
Thanks!

Just do *.pdf search on the laptop C:\drive and it should list all the PDFs found - then look in the file location of the listed PDFs found to see the locations - the Diagbox / Lexia ones should be obvious to see, then navigate there and copy as needed.
