I think it will be fine. The old gearbox was the problem, I think a lot of these get scrapped for electronics and suspension issues. Chances are the new box will be OK.

True!

Why should you borrow money from a pessimist? They never expect it to be paid back!

Unlike those who never expect anything - they are never disapointed! :|

As for Gibbo not being a pessimist, I'm not sure a realist would ever have taken it on.

It's boring here..................rained off again.

So my old mate gave me an old Dell laptop with XP to use with Diagbox, he said just wipe whatever's on it but I've discovered a lot of family photos, his late wife and the children and decided to save them to disk in case if he don't want them his kids might.

So I managed to burn one folder full but another folder doesn't put up the burn to disk option and I can't think how, any advice?

Gibbo you should be able to manually slow the burn rate to something like 4x as they usually run at auto speed which might be too fast.

I followed all the usual procedures but all I'm getting alongside every pic is "An error occurred." I'll have to leave it for now other things to do.

I'll give that a try tomorrow Simon. Thanks.
The rain stopped for an hour so I managed to get the other drive shaft back in on the C5, nearly...........the sky blacked over and down the rain came again before I could get the centre bearing retainer on. :(
