Two cracking spots today...

1965 Fraud Anglia Estate in Maroon - and in very fine nick Estates were always rare as I remember...

And then a black Triumph TR6 on continental plates...

I saw a deep blue TR6 several times today in Amersham (well, I would, as it is on a site I cover two days a week, and is owned by one of the senior managers there).

This classic car business in Holland crops up from time to time in my paddling around classic car sales.

Impressive premises and worth a decent "window shop" if ever you were in the vicinity.

It came up in a search for dark blue TR6.

This one here to be precise although I have seen darker dark blues than the sapphire blue of the car on the photo.

From the Triumph TR6 Colour Chart Royal Blue seems the darkest like this

Two great spots this morning... Rare now too..

A very tidy looking dark green Pug 406 on an N plate so a very, very early one..

And then a fairly tidy white Pug 205 on a D plate...

Both were under way on the opposite carriageways at the time so sadly no pictures

Ahh That Volvo brings back some happy (and not so happy) memories...

Just mention Skimmingdish Lane in Bicester to my kids That place for me has been a bit of a Bermuda Triangle over the years... The Volvo epically expired there and so did one of my V6 Xantias many years later....

Mini brings back some great memories too - just like my very first car except mine was white with a black roof

A few cars seen around Beaune this week.

Not sure whether to post this in the electric topic, as it has at least a couple of lithium ion battery packs.

This is sat outside a restarant as a mascot. It looks fairly rotten underneath. I heard that the restaurant is going bust.

Spotted a green GT6 and a beige Morgan passing through on their way up to the Keilder Vintage and Classic Car event on Sunday.

Looks like there was even something there for the keen horticulturalist too. I did spot a black tulip with a spanish rose or possibly a geranium, on some of the pics from the event.

I was at Ascot Racecourse today (getting ready for Royal Ascot, checking measurements for my Morning Suit), and I found there is going to be a Classic Car Auction this coming Saturday. I won't be able to go (or afford ANY of the vehicles), but the camera on my phone has just had more usage in an hour than it has in a year!

ALL of the pictures are my own work, with permission from the organisers (as far as I know).

I hope this does not cause any moderators displeasure (for overwhelming the site), and I hope the pictures are liked (there are around 70!). There were many more cars there, but I took pictures of the ones that interested ME (so if there are any cars in the background that people want a better look at, but are not here, please accept my apologies)

I have just found out there is a limit on the number of pictures you can post in one go (50, which makes sense). Here are the remaining 20 pictures;

About an hour taking the pictures, and 15 minutes to upload them to the forum (highlighted the entire block, to find only 50 uploaded, so did the remaining 20 in the following post). All 70 are in the "E:\Pictures\Ascot Car Auction 2017" folder on my PC. 85MB in total.

If it had been a car show I would have got closer to the various cars (for more detailed photographs), but as they are for an auction I did NOT want to take any chances. I was even careful to check behind me before I stepped back to get better shots. There was NO way I was going to even TOUCH one of them!

The Rover P6 caught my eye amongst the exotica, again in an "interesting colour" Zircon Blue.
