I-Spy Classic Cars/Bikes-What have you spotted?

Id love a triumph stag. One is on my list if i can ever afford a good one. I think they are amazingly beautiful and stylish cars.

GT6 is the one for me, followed by the Spitfire. I can see the attraction of the Stag too but my money is definitely for the GT6

More open-toppage James. I have to say in my 40 odd years of motoring I have never had an open-top car. The nearest I have got so far is my Triumph GT6 with its Webasto Sunroof. Unfortunately all I have got right now of the GT6 is the well oil-stained Haynes Manual!

Another spot for me on Sunday, and one I am well-familiar with, getting its first outing of the year a DRK three-wheeler, again in a gorgeous blue, based on a Renault 4, one of only 59 built. Bit info about the DRK here http://www.3wheelers.com/drk.html.

Now he just flashed past but I am 90% sure he had the full flying helmet and goggles on!

Yes I'm awarding myself 50 points for that!

Thanks James, not sure how authentic he went, but this little set is estimated at £100-£150 with the gauntlets thrown in . I bet he did have the "gloves" too, I mean if you are going for the helmet and goggles it would be unusual if you didn't complement it with the gloves!

I've a set of those goggles that I forgot to return when I had a go in a Tiger moth. My teddy sometimes wears them when he gets bored.

Possibly the most widely available "open-toppage" car in the UK is the SAAB convertible in all its incarnations. Saw one just now down the shops!

List of 300+ for sale on gumtree at various prices. Now there's probably a reason this is up for sale at a full eye-watering two hundred and fifty pounds (no MOT, no V5 (at the mo!) and a slightly rough looking background to the picture) but it looks lovely in yellow!

Geograph has a handful of Maxi pics on......yes they did come in this colour!

Quite an interesting Geograph square that, featured on POTD before....if you went to the top of the lighthouse this would be the view you would get of the "Maxi" car park and surrounding area.

...I think in Morgan circles it could well be described as Royal Ivory rather than beige.
