I like that. I've seen similar before. Think I'd get away with a V6 on the bonnet of the 107?

I would like a carefully designed 'holographic' one, of four hamster wheels (with hamsters in), all linked together and feeding into the gearbox. Moving your head would produce the apparent movement of the wheels and hamsters.

Can you imagine a graphic based on my idea, but configured for a V6 engine on the bonnet of YOUR V6 Activa? That would cause a few comments when you take her around Castle Combe again!

Anyone remember perspex bonnets that graced Motor Show exhibits? The Morris Minor one was a work of art in its own right.

For a tantalising "tiny glimpse" of some nice SU's on a Rover V8, there's always this . . .

Image
. . . Spen King's 1967 flat-panel prototype. Mid-engined V8, with integrated gearbox and rear diff.
The car is still driveable, and is iirc at Gaydon Heritage.

But for the complete glassy Rover P6 experience, Triplex made just fifty of these, for promotional purposes:

Headlining was "zip-in". Several 'Triplex Rovers' still exist in Holland.
