I saw this Citrojim, and thought of you.
It's a scented candle.

I could send him an Xmas card from Croatia ... you don't get a lot of those unless it is summer (not Xmas of course, but summer greetings) ...

Do NOT forget de-caffeinated tea bags! PG tips, and Twinings Earl Grey Tea are normally a good starting point.

An update on my tea consumption James I only drink Rooibos (redbush) tea these days... There is a lovely earl Grey version available though..Hell Razor5543 wrote:Do NOT forget de-caffeinated tea bags! PG tips, and Twinings Earl Grey Tea are normally a good starting point.
My Caffeine intolerance is such I cannot even risk decaff tea as that still has enough caffeine to be a cause for concern. Decaff ground coffee I'm OK with in small doses...

CitroJim, if you have a caffeine intolerance, you may wish to research about decaff coffee as nearly all of it contains some caffeine - perhaps 10-15% of a dose of "normal" coffee.

Interesting that Ben.... I only have one cup of decaff coffee a day and I take it very weakly. One of my naughty pleasures.....

Citrojim, you might find this website useful, or not.
http://www.caffeineinformer.com/
For example..
http://www.caffeineinformer.com/caffein ... caf-coffee
I understand there is a difference between "caffeine free" and "decaffeinated".

Thanks Ben, appreciated
This bit I found interesting..

Good to see the EU regulation is a lot tighter and I hope that applies to the stuff I drink...The decaffeination process involves treating the coffee beans prior to roasting. The international standard of decaffeination requires that 97% of the caffeine must be removed. The EU sets this standard at 99.9%

How people manage to afford Costa coffee all day, every day is beyond me...

Re: What to buy Citrojim for Xmas
I will admit to going to Starbucks or Costa nearly every day. It's my treat to myself for giving up smoking. I figure that £2.60 a day on a reasonable coffee is better than £10 a day on cigarettes, and rather more healthy.

Since giving up the evil weed three years ago now I cannot but totally agreeBenC5HDi wrote:I will admit to going to Starbucks or Costa nearly every day. It's my treat to myself for giving up smoking. And indeed, after giving up smoking you deserve a daily treat. Mine is a nice skinny latte once a day. Decaff of course

Re: What to buy Citrojim for Xmas
Love the candle, I know a certain lady that will need one of them (off road biker girl).
In my humble opinion costa and Starbucks make appalling coffee. Costas is just poor quality ingredients and Starbucks set up the machines awfully. My favourite fast food coffee is a subway.
Being a tight arse who's particular about coffee I went and bought a few of these. I think it's the cheapest best way to take portable coffee. I may be obsessed though, love coffee and rationed to 2 cups a day for my health. I've even got a nespresso machine in the boot with an invertor.
