Coding injectors with Can Clip

Unread post by xsaras4ever »

Hello all from Bretagne.

We are about to buy a 2004 Megane, 100cv Estate with Sports Pack and it has the usual Injection pump problems.

A friend did our last Megane and coded the injectors with his Bosch gadget but we dont want to continually lean on him.

So its change the pump, injectors, common rail and diesel filter , flush the tank and lines and take it from there.

Will we need to code the new pump and injectors and if yes, if we purchase Can Clip can we use that to do it.

Over on the Citroen side of things we went through a mega process to get our Lexia working - is it the same heartache for Renault ?

Any advice greatly received.

Also , on the Citroen side of things we downloaded Sedre and DocBackup which is great when referencing part numbers, although for quickness we mostly use the Citroen Servicebox website.

Is there a similiar setup for Renault ?

Thanks in advance.

Renault Clip is very easy to install. If you purchase the correct 'package' you get the software for parts reference and also key generation that allows major parts to be coded to the car - injectors can be done easily with the basic package. It works fine with Windows 7.

Hello and thanks for the info.

We can get Can Clip V136 for 108euros , delivered. That is about 90 pounds. How does that compare with you guys ?

Thanks

Hello again.

If people say they can code the injectors with Can Clip , then we believe them.

However, 2 sellers (one version 136 , one version 139) say that their Can Clip is diagnostic only and can not code.

Where are we going wrong ?

Are there different versions of Can Clip( ie: cheaper ones to read and dearer ones to code )

Thanks Again.

Hi,

I'd say there's something strange if the vendors say it can't code, that's a main feature of Clip. I bought software via eBay.
