Whatsthisthen?
Have a go at this one, if no-one has got it in a couple of days I'll post the answer up
There' s enough clues to get it but hopefully its not too obvious
Not sure if Malcolm will come up with the goods on this one, my money is on another forum member of substantial standing...
regards Neil

Re: Whatsthisthen?
Poxhall FD Victor or VX4/90?
Actually no, it might be a Holden.
Looks very GM'ish anyway...
That'll keep me busy today...

Re: Whatsthisthen?
well it certainly looks Yank'ish but the nudge bars ( bumper ) is a bit on the small side for that,
maybe Auz or Kiwi,
cant think what UK car with that very Poxhall/Vicounty/last of the Cresta's looking body shape, but wrong eye's ( head lamps )
so i think Adam will get this one

Re: Whatsthisthen?
and the points go to....................Addo
nice to have an international winner! Came across it when I pulled up an image list for an Austin 1800.
from the wiki page reference is also made to an Austin/Morris Tasman also based on the Austin 1800.
If you are ever in New Zealand dont forget to make a trip to the Wanaka Transport Museum.
There is a white Morris Tasman X6 preserved at the Museum, and fittingly, while the cars themselves are moved constantly around the museum, it is always shown parked alongside an Austin 1800.

When you see the full picture of the Kimberley you can see the family resemblance there quite clearly!NewcastleFalcon wrote:Came across it when I pulled up an image list for an Austin 1800.

have a go at this one
Now this "Whatsthisthen?" has already made an appearance in the "I-Spy Citroen H Vans thread" with 1/4 of one point on offer for identification. Northern Mike got the moral victory but left it up to others to claim the point, while leaving a very heavy hint as to what it was. As such the points on offer were reduced to 1/8th of a point
The full 1/4 was offered if the location could be given, but the nearest was Timmo who was 358.2 miles out.
The actual name/location has never been declared as yet, but its a bit of a loose end, so if you know what it is, tie up the loose end and claim a well deserved fraction of a point
regards Neil
I'll give it a couple of days and if it hasn't been answered I'll post up the results and claim the points myself
