The Water Pumps purpose is to help circulate the engine coolant through the cooling system.

They play a vital role in the engine cooling system, and without a fully working Water Pump, serious damage could occur.

Kev, do you have a fully working water pump on your GSA?

Mind you it doesnt say that the water pump has to be fitted to the car.......

there seems to be lots of sellers with these for sale on flea bay,

maybe they only fit the birotor GS, but the certainly list them for the air cooled models, the only thing i can think is they are a upgrade for the washer pump
