I know I said I wouldn't be doing any thing to the car for a while, but I lied! I've had these knocking around since I got the wheels & just put them on today.

I found a can of red paint doing nothing at work, so on a whim, I painted my engine cover.

Also talking of painting, we picked up a couple of Lloyd Loom chairs that had been dumped at the recycling skip the other day. They both looked pretty bad with the seats completely broken & mould growing on them, but we put them in the boot anyway. Now my wife has repainted them, made MDF seats covered with foam & vintage fabric & we are pleased to have two new garden chairs!

My grandson uses one of those ^ but a miniature one that belonged to my brother in law when he was little - over 70 years ago. Still in perfect condition :)

Looks really good Peter!

All you need now is to buy the red GSR Induction Kit from JonM (if he's still got it)...

Good work with the chair - we've a green one here.

We have at least 4 other Lloyd Loom chairs, but these were remarkable for being free!

Thanks! I did toy with buying Wozza's red induction kit, but think it would be too noisy for my long commute.

Thanks again & we like Lloyd Loom chairs!

Thanks, funny thing I opened the bonnet yesterday to check levels after about 1000 miles over the weekend and completely suprised myself seeing the red as I'd forgotten all about it!

It's been done before...

In fact, it was for sale just last week - didn't sell, though...

Well found Peter, IMO it looks better in the original colour as opposed to the white vinyl wrap that it's had...

That engine does look quite at home in there...

If Citroen had only put a V6 in a VTS or a By Loeb... =P~

I agree, why didn't they capitalise on the rally wins?

I can testify to a vts being faster than a golf gti, dont know what engine, and a corsa vxr that thought he would overtake me after being 1/2 inch off my back bumper for a few miles   =D> 8-)
