acav as was - working on one side but im gonna source the part required soon.

Acav system now in full working order after spending £50 on a new diaphragm - was very careful fitting it as too much pressure can snap the nipple so dipped the rubber pipe in boiling water first - didnt dare push on fully but got it on half way and it works - result is more pulling power low down and seems to idle better next thing to sort is bouncing speedo but the guy at croxdale citroen says it has the more modern transmitter thingy rather than a cable - is this right ?? anyone ??

He's possibly right Martin , my 1992 volcane was a cable speedo and was a 20 second job to disconnect .

it is a cable so i dunno why the citroen computer parts system is showing otherwise.

A couple of pics from Raby castle classic car show back in August where there was a distinct lack of Citroens appart from a couple of 2CV,s in which i have no interest at all and an L reg mini Italian Job won the post 1980 prize ????
