One of the very first Xantias, Peter - commonly deciphered by the chevrons on the bonnet and named a sinker as they'll sink down to the floor after being turned off for a little while - due to having no anti-sink valve IIRC...Fake Concern wrote:??????

Normally just the early K and L reg ones with chevrons on the bonnet but I believe that Paul has got a chevrons-on-the-bonnet Xantia that's not a Sinker, though...!
No leaks, either...!Fake Concern wrote:It's at times like this that I'm glad I have steel springs!
I'm loving picking up stuff about X Citroens!citroenxm wrote:Yup, one of those too..
Very nomrally Sinker Xantias are K's and L's, but they carried over the BX suspension initially...
But early on in 1994, a revision was then made to the cars. I at first, thought anti sink was added along with chevrons moving to the grill and the additio of Drivers Air Bag and pre tensioners... However, this is not so. Ive an L reg with no air bags, and chevrons on the bonnet and with anti sink. Its an ORIGINAL car too!
Peter - NO, Im not, with all the recet coil spring failiures Ive seen, im SOOOOO GLAD Ive not got srpings...
Do we know anyone with a K reg?citroenxm wrote: Sinker Xantias are K's and L's,

That's a very kind offer, maybe at the next get together? I'm sure to be at another one.Hell Razor5543 wrote:Peter, next time I am visiting my family in Haywards Heath, I would be happy for you to have a go in my Xantia, Gracie. She is only an LX, with the basic suspension, but I like her. If I'd known, you could have had a drive in her at the X Rally.
