There is a permanent fault its related to the ongoing problem of the battery draining which I am still waiting for a guy with a Lexia getting back to me he is downloading a wireing diagram so at this stage I will wait for him before I try anything myself

Look to the bottom of the screen and you will see a few buttons with symbols such as 'help' and '?' go into one of those menu's and you will find further info, how much info is there depends upon each particular car and the software version installed on it, the general rule is that the later the car the more info is available as to what range/value the perameters should be within.

Had trouble myself installing the Lexia software, but in combination with the advice given here which I found very helpful this websit is also worth a visit - http://esobd2.wordpress.com/2011/07/15/ ... ol-pp2000/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Richard, the fault points to an injection fault with the injection relay in place the battery drain is over an amp and when the relay is removed the reading goes down to just enough for the clock and radioon standby I bought a new relay but it didnt help so looks like whatever comes after the relay is at fault I am waiting for the guy to download a wireing diagram from Service Citroen so I will have to wait for him to get back to me

I've had the climate control ECU not being picked up on the Xant two or three times. After a very quick bit of experimenting I found that if I come out of climate control, go into the ABS ECU then go back to the climate control one I can get it. I've got a funny feeling this could just be coincidence or one of those things with mine but theres no harm in sharing it just in case!

Thanks Kev :-D I'll give that a go tomorrow. I've got into my New V6 climate once but never on another MK2. I got into Old V6s climate (MK1) no problem at all...

I have two orders for Lexia's pending at the moment, the sellers stock is low at the moment but he apparently has another batch due in about three weeks time so if anyone else would like to place an order to build up a bulk purchase (cheaper price) please let me know.

Tried it Kev, both my Activa and Rattiva and no go... I popped the ELIT on and got into both no worries at all but the odd thing was that the ELIT, despite having selected Xantia claimed the car was a Xsara and that tghe climate ECU was a Valeo.

Tried to fool the Lexia3 into thinking it was a Xsara for a test but no go...

Odd that the Lexia3 can get into some climate ECUs and not others...

HAving problems installing Lexia Software. (PP2000 installed O.k) Gets to the stage of confirming what language to use & then says. "Install/Update" when I click on this it says "Please install Proxia Recovery CD before installing this version". I uninstalled already having had the same problems as Paulhelliwell2. It is while attempting to reinstall I get the above messages. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to create an empty file in the root of drive C:\ called version.txt and all will then be fine.

Use Notepad to create the file. Just open Notepad and immediately save as version in C:\ and all will be fine.

Look at C:\ and check the file is saved as version.txt and not as version.txt.txt which can happen if you save it as version.txt and you have file extensions for known file types hidden; the windows default.
